There was much fanfare when the announcement was made about this film. Different story, Different character, Different 'getup'. Different back drop.. and so.. on. This 'different movie by all means' had created different rumors also.

That the film is dropped, is the most important rumor which makes all the 'Difference'. When we enquired about this, we come to know that the rumor is not correct. Gopika is the lead pair of Simbu in this movie.

The first phase of the shooting of this film took place in Calcutta. But Simbu's Manmadhan intervened in between, Simbu who is directing the film in a benamy name, wanted to release the movie in the near future. So he bid temporary good bye to 'Thotti Jeya'.

Manmadhan is being released in coming Diwali. Simbu is telling everybody that he is going get involved in 'Thotti Jeya' completely after Manmadhan. Because of this commitment, he also put some good offers in the waiting list.

So, 'Thotti Jeya' didn't go to dust bin as yet, we may see the movie in silver screens very soon.
