The producer of the film 'Andha Naal Gnapagam' Senthamizh Sekar, along with the Hero Ramana. Heroines Sridevika and Jyothi met the media. The Pooja for the film was conducted on the same day morning. Press was scheduled in the evening.

Original name of the producer was Sekar. He is a Tamilian, doing business in Malaysia at present. His daughter's name Senthamizh. All his business ventures are named after her.

Twenty years before he came to Chennai to producer a movie. S.A.Chandrasekar was to direct the film, and the hero was Vijayakanth. The project did not materialize at that time.

He waited for 20 years to make yet another effort in producing a movie. Now he is back with same passion. He had given a shape to his long time dream through this beginning. He named the film aptly, 'Andha Nall Gnapagam'. This movie gives new lease of life and yet another chance to the Hero Ramana and Heroine Sridevika.

For Ramana this is actually his second movie. His first movie is 'Meesai Madhavan' which is yet be released. He is ferverently hoping that this film will give him a real break.

Same is the case for Heroine Sridevika. Her first movie, Ramakrishna, is struggling to get released. Now her only hope is this movie at present.

The Director have given an outline of the story of this film "My native place is Naggapattinam. There I had a friend whose real life experience is the theme of the movie. The movie will affect everybody who sees it.

Andha Naal Gnapam's Pooja coincided with Rajini's Chandramuki's Pooja. Even then Rajini called up over the phone and conveyed his greetings for the success of this movie. The whole unit is just pleased about this. Vittalji, who is in charge for production, in 'Andha Naal Gnapagam', previously been an Associate producer for Rajini films like 'Maaveeran' and 'Valli'. The Superstar, without forgetting this, conveyed greeting to Vittalji.
