Jey Jey Good film have produced Sarathkumar starrer Chatrapathy, which is going to be released on Diwali. The shooting of this movie, which has been going on for some time, at Thenkasi is now completed.
He returned to Chennai Yesterday, and met Journalist at Good luck pre-view theatre. We had an informal talk with him about his latest film Chattrapathi.
Excerpts from his Interview.
What is the story of Chatrapathy?
“You could not have come across this type of story in recent times. It’s a kind of different story; it had been transformed into a very interesting film. I am acting as a bus driver in this film. But there will suspense in this character. You will realize it when you see the movie. If you ask me anything more, it would lead to revealing the full story.
Producer Baburaja have taken the movie without caring about expenditure. He was also the producer of my previous film ‘Arasu’.
We have come together for the second time now. Director SriMagesh have directed this movie beautifully.
Stunts by ‘Anal’ Arasu, Previously he was with ‘Kanal’ Kannan. The fighting sequences have come in a natural manner and yet majestically. S.A.Rajkumar have scored the music. All songs are going to be hit.
There is a song in this film, beginning with the sentence “Ninna Podhukkottam”.. (Even if you stand alone, that itself is public meeting) is there any politics in this?
The is supposed to be sung by a women character. So there is no question of politics. Likewise, there won’t be dialogues, connected with politics.
Is there any ‘Punch Dialogues ‘ in the movie?
Yes…. Success.. Success.., Success.. is one such dialogue.. I can not say about other dialogues now.
How come ‘Chatrapathy’ is getting released before ‘Aai’?
Due to some reasons ‘Aai’ release is getting delayed. So we have completed Chatrapathy, and releasing it on coming Diwali. ‘Aai’ will come just after. ‘Aiya’ will be released in Pongal.
