SJ Surya had created a new trend with his 'New'. Ever since his Primary School kid-adult girl comedy clicked, there are many copycat films getting ready.

He had announced has new project titled 'BF'. He himself would have felt that he was going overboard with the title, so he changed it to 'Anbulla Nanbanae'. The film has a role of a very young girl. When he approached Meena and explained the film to her scene by scene, she was very impressed. She had accepted to do the role.
