Bala’s B Studio begins its first production. The film’s name is ‘Mayavi’. Surya and Jyothika are the hero and heroine and Bala is producing the film on a first copy basis for Dhanu.

There are lots of mysteries surrounding the whole film, starting from Surya’s walking out of ‘Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikaalam’.

When Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikaalam’ was dropped, Surya met with Bala and suggested that they do a film together but Bala was busy with Ajth’s film. So, he refused. When Jyothika heard about it, she said that she was willing to produce the film with Surya in the lead. She had even said this to Surya.
 
When Bala heard this, he said that he himself was ready to produce the film and asked his assistant director Singam puli to direct it. There are lot of happy faces including Surya, Jyothika, Bala, Singampuli and Dhanu.

There is one person who looks like he has lost a battle- Shivakumar, Surya’s father. He was happy that his son and Jyothika wouldn’t act together again. He is worried about the consequences of the two acting together again.
