Getting those rebates form the Government turned out to be a big boost for Vijayakanth. Sarath's resignation was an additional bonus. 

To celebrate this occasion, he has taken some strong measures. One of them is a ban on the construction of a multi-storied office complex for Nadigar Sangam. The building is going to have a meeting hall, a screening theatre and spacious office rooms. But such a big project requires big bucks. 

So, he has decided to conduct star nites in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in December. Vijayakanth and producer Kwaja Mohideen have left for the Arabian countries yesterday. They plan to gather money through these functions. 

But the biggest problem is- all the leading heroes have refused to participate in the shows. Rajini, Kamal, Ajith and Sarath Kumar are not going to participate in this.

They seem to be tired of Vijayakanth's policy of making them do all the work and reaping the benefits himself. Their boycott is a protest against this. Vijayakanth is getting suggestions from his followers on how to get these starts to tow the line.
