An all-actors' meeting was on yesterday at Nadigar Sangam. Usually, reporters are invited for the meetings. But, yesterday's topic of discussion was reporters.

Film stars complained that reporters write crap about them. Vijayakanth said, "There was a time when reporters used to ask us no what to write. They used to cross check with us. These days, they write whatever they want to. I'm not implying everybody. I ask them to please verify the truth and then write."

Everybody was peaceful during the meeting except Khushboo. She kept fuming about reports on her excess weight and rumors that she had gone to the US to reduce some flab. "Why are they so concerned about me weight? Is that not my husband's problem?" she shouted.

There was also a debate on who needs the other more- does the cinema need the reporters more or do the reporters need films more? A question was thrown at Vijayakanth- Actors reply only to gossips but they are not available for comments on news. Why?

Vijayakanth assured that such things wouldn't happen again. He said that the stars would get directly in touch with the editors if something malicious appears about them in the papers. If that doesn't work, they would go for more drastic steps.

All leading heroes like Vikram, Sathyaraj, Madhavan and others had turned up but almost all the leading reporters were absent.
