It has become usual for heroes to enter politics in South India. What does superstar Vikram have to say about it?

Vikram sure is one of the most bankable stars in south these days. He made his debut in Tamil, honed his skills in Malayalam and returned to become one of the leading heroes in Tamil. All of a sudden, he has made himself a huge fan following in Andhra Pradesh too!

When actors with just three or four films behind them talk about entering politics, what is Vikram's stand on this?

"I'm interested in knowing about politics, but I don't think I want to enter politics yet. I don't think I would ever be able to wear dhoti- shirt everyday. As far as politics is concerned, I'm an 'Anniyan' (Stranger)," he said.

About the dhoti- shirt issue, did we not see him wear a dhoti in some of his films? a politician in jeans and t-shirt is not a bad idea either.
