The film 'Kudaikkul Mazhai' is as confusing as its results. Some say it is a masterpiece, others say that the film sucks. What does the producer Parthiban say?

"The film did well in the A center. But it failed in the B and C centers. This has resulted in loss for me. I have incurred financial loss. I will have to now make two films and repay the loans," he says, confidently.

When 'Pudhiya Paadhai' was released Parthiban was in Shabari Mala. When 'Kudaikkul Mazhai' was released he was conducting a hunger protest.

"People say that my hunger protest was a publicity stunt. But there was a larger welfare in it. The protest made the government bring in some much-needed relief measures. The fans are the ones who are going to enjoy it."

Hewn others make loss, they run towards profit, but Parthiban has shifted his attention towards social service. He has come forward to pay the educational expenses Aishwaryalakshmi and Anjaja Devi of Coimbatore.

These girls can recite the Kural, Silappadhikaram and Kamba Puranam fluently. They are now getting ready to create a world record by speaking continuously for 24 hours.

Though 'Kudaikkul Mazhai' didn't do well in most of the centers, Parthiban's social service sure is.
