Even with no substantial fan following, Madhavan has raised his salary to Rs 1 Crore. He doesn't even ask the story these days when producers try to sign him up. He simply shows one finger, indicating his salary of RS 1 Crore and if the producer agrees, he then asks what the story is.

So, nobody even touches him these days! Madhavan sensed it too and has now changed his strategy.

Ajith had signed up for Nic Arts' film 'Mirattal'. Due to a fight with Chakravarthy, Ajith is most likely to walk out of the film. When Madhavan heard about this fight, he sent some feelers to Nic Art Chakravarthy and expressed his desire to do the film.
 
There is something funny about this-  Murugadas had written a story after 'Ramana' and wanted Vikram to act in it. But Vikram suggested too many changes in the story and Murugadas decided to change the hero instead. But he wasn't able to find a hero who was willing to do the role. Madhavan was one of those heroes. Now, he himself has volunteered to show his talent in Murugadas' 'Mirattal'!

The fact that the world is small doesn't have to be learnt from books. Some of these actors are very God examples of it. Mahdavan is one such personality.
 
Ajith is not the only one Madhavan is paying these games with. Surya too has become his victim. Surya was going to act in a film with Fazil. Now, Madhavan has replaced him. Ilayaraja is composing music for this yet-to-be named film.
