Vijay TR's discovery, Darshini plays a college student in 'Veerasamy'. TR doesn't allow anything longer than micro-minis. Throughout the film, she wanders about in tiny shorts. She is actually very happy about it. She is the one who had gone about distributing her photo session pictures to everybody when she was invited for a camera test. But it wasn't easy for her to get the offer.

"TR had met with more than a thousand people to select the heroine for this role. That makes me one in a thousand," she says as if she had won an Olympic medal. Her greatest source of happiness is TR right now.

Someone had told her that heroines like Nalini, Amala, Jeevita and Mumtaz were introduced by him and have become the leading heroines. Since then, she hasn't been walking on planet earth.

"I didn't think that I would get so much of publicity and such a big banner in my very first film! None of TR's heroines have lost. I believe I will be a star someday soon."

We don't know if TR's luck would save her, but her costumes sure will!
