Ever since ‘New’ had happened, the Censor Board has decided to become very strict with filmmaking. Even slightly vulgar scenes are going to be chopped off. Meanwhile, Velu Prabhakar is getting ready with a film with nude scenes!
His previous films, ‘Kadavul’ and ‘Puratchikaaran’ were involved in major controversies. Next on the line is ‘Kaadhal Arangam’.
"Love is a fiction. Lust is truth. From the moment you wake up till you go to sleep, there is lust around you. It is essential for you. In this country, they suffocate people with lust in the name of love," said the director who talks like Mathrubhootam. He didn’t spare the film industry either.
"They make women dance in skimpy clothes and create lust in the minds of men and make money out of it. A woman’s bust and her thighs are the biggest source of money for the filmmakers."
While others only show glimpses of busts and thighs, here is a man who goes ahead to show it all!
"There is a difference between the way a man looks at a woman when he is lusting for her and when a doctor looks at his patient. I look at nudity from a doctor’s point of view. That is how I have made this film. Covering up the woman’s body actually worsens lust."
The solution?
"Make nudity a common thing," he said as if he was talking about getting film tickets at the counter.
Women’s associations and the Censor board are going to have a field day with his films!
