Kalaignar’s journey in the field of film, which began with ‘Mandirakumari’, still continues. His previous film was in the year 1996, named ‘Pudhiya Parashakti’. He had written the screenplay and dialogues for the film.

This time, Kalaignar writes the screenplay of a film about a pregnant woman who loses her husband in the Kargil war. Her personal battle in the society forms the plot of the story.

Kalaignar’s dialogues have the power to add depth and impact to the story and the scenes and also add a new dimension to the film. The new film has been named ‘Kannamma’. Abitha stars as the pregnant woman.

The film has two heroes- ‘Mettioli’ Venkat and ‘Annamalai’ Premkumar.SS Bala is directing the film. Chandrashekar, Vaiyapuri and Alphonsa are some of the stars of the film.

The film is going to be launched tomorrow at AVM Studios. Karunanidhi, Vaali, Radhika Sarath Kumar, SA Chandrashekar, K Rajagopal, Keyar, Devaraj and others are expected to attend the function.
