SAC Ramki is the director of ‘Solli Adippaen’. In case you are wondering what SAC stands for- those are the initials of his guru in the film industry- SA Chandrashekar. "You are probably surprised by my guru bhakti. My film will be equally surprising," says the director.
Making a hero out of a comedian is a risky proposition but SAC Ramki is ready to take up the challenge. "Vivek is the one who suits the role the most. I thought it would be a good idea to make him sing a song too. He had initially refused to sing but had later got the whole song right in one take! Deva had composed six beautiful songs in the film.
"Chaaya Singh is the heroine of the film. For the glamour quotient, we have Tejashri. Ashish Vidhyarthi plays the villain. The film’s theme is very simple- if you plan and execute your task, you will succeed in anything."
Any personal experience in planning and executing?
"The photo session of the film was carried out like the usual shooting. It was originally supposed to be held for three days, but we had managed to complete it in one day. Producer SK Krishnakanth is very happy about it."
The only drawback with SAC Ramki is the fact that he too speaks like all the other directors- he says that his film is very unique and that he is going to show Vivek in a very different angle this time.
SAC Ramki, we have one message for you- you can concentrate on the story, screenplay, direction and dialogues. Let the audience decide if the film is different from the rest.
