Actress Reema Sen, who made her debut with a bang in Minnale, lost her way after some insignificant roles. Now, 'lady luck' seems to be smiling on Reema and the actress is reportedly getting a few offers. In her forthcoming movie Chellamae, she plays the lead role opposite newcomer Vishal.  Gandhi Krishna, who wielded the megaphone for a non-commercial film Nila Kalam, is directing Chellamae, which he says 'is a typical masala-cum-romantic entertainer.'
Chellamae is produced by V Gnanavel and V Jayaprakash.

Also in the cast are Boys- fame Bharath and Vivek.

Speaking about the film, Gandhi Krishna, a one-time associate of director Shankar, says, 'it has been a dream-come-true for me. A talented unit comprising cinematographer K V Anand, music composer Harris Jayaraj, dialogue writer Sujatha and lyricist Vairamuthu have joined hands for Chellamae.'

'Harris Jayaraj's music has already been topping the audio charts and has created an expectation among movie buffs,' adds Gandhi Krishna.

Reema Sen says, 'I have got to play a meaty role in the film, with enough scope for me to perform. All credit should go to the director and producers for keeping faith in me and casting me in the role.'

The movie is slated for release this month.
