'Vasanthiyum, Latchumiyum Pinne Gnanum' This is a tittle of Malayalam film. Kalabhavan Mani had acted in the lead. This was remade in Tamil as 'Kasi' in which Vikram was a sightless man.

After that this film went to Telugu, then to Kannada and after one full round in South India it now goes to Srilanka.

Sri Sai Cine makers in association with Srilankan National film corporation produces it as 'Surya'. This film will speak in Singhalese now. One Niranjan directs this film as well as acts. Along with him the leading cine artists in Srilanka, Kanchana Mendis, Dillani are acting as Heroines.

Kamini Ponsega, who once acted in Tamil film 'Pilot Premnath' along with Sivaji Ganesan, is also acting in this.

The film is made under the supervision of 'Udhirippookkal' Mahendran. The shooting starts next month in Srilanka.

Now for 'Surya', they have so many films to refer. One in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. With Mahedran's supervision, the film should come out all well.
