The South Indians are always ‘one up’ than others. This is real in film productions also. At least three Muhurats per day take place in Kollywood. This is an average estimate. Some how new film producers enter the field with lot of courage and invest. This is what the ‘Cinema Magic’ going on Kodambakkam without logic.

For example yesterday, there was a pooja for a new film. The name is ‘Thodu’ (Touch). It is a logic that two words film titles always win!

Kunal is the hero (An Amul baby) the story dialogue by Nanda. He also takes care of direction. This Nanda had worked in films like ‘Kadal Virus’, ‘Chokkaththangam’, ‘Visil’ , ‘Jananam’ etc. Having gained the experience of the above ‘Very successful’ films he is going to try his debut in story, screenplay, dialogue and direction in this film ‘Thodu’

Story is a very usual one. Two youngsters studying in college love the same girl. Obviously both of them turn against each other. Who is going to win the hand of the heroine will be known in the climax.

Luckily Nanda had not declared that this is an unusual picture. The love is being looked at different angle etc. Perhaps he keeps his fingers crossed for the success of the movie. Lyricist is our Vairamuthu, he would make the love drip in every line of his.Heroine is a new face, to be introduced. We have a battalion of people starting from Manivannan and Karunas acting in the movie. Music is Bharani. Camera by Prem Shahi.

Choreography - Kalyan, Sivasankar, Dinesh.

Stunt - Thalapathy Dinesh

Art - S.M. Anand

The old wine in a new bottle!
