Sources say that she has signed a Tamil film 'Kadhalunna Summa Illa' to be released in September. She plays the lead opposite Ravi Krishna. The film is a remake of Telugu blockbuster 'Gamyam'. Sharwanand who played an important role in the original is making his debut in Tamil with this film. “Actually, my first movie is Naalai Namathey with Viniyan. But then, this movie is releasing first,” says the actor.

Illam Kannan is directing the movie. Vidyasagar, Manisharma and Anil have composed the music. It is being produced by Raj Television Network.
