Shyamaya came with an intention to Chennai from Kerala. She after graduation wanted to stand on her own legs. She becomes an insurance agent and She did not stop with that, collected the data's about the busy people of Kollywood. Her point of contention is instead of collecting 10 nos of 1lakh policy from middle income group, Collect 25 to 50 lakhs from one in he film field.

With this as a motive, She went to producer -Director-actor Thyagarajan, Father of Prashant. After a preliminary discussion about policies, Thyagarajan who was intently looking at her offered her a good role in the film. Would you accept. The girl said 'yes' without bating an eyelid.

From next day shooting started. She thought she is going to be the Heroine. No it was something more, a Ghost role not a guest role - making the heroine tremble. What if? It is much better that what policy would give.

"My modeling, Bharatha Natyam, Folk dance all of them will help me and I would make my presence felt in Cinefiled" she says. He name is no more Shyamala, it has been shortened as 'Shamba' by Thyagarajan.

In a press meet she said " In the film Shock my portion has come off very well" and she was all in smiles when she said this!

So by Thyagarajan, a new face from Kerala has come. But one small worry. She wanted stand on her own legs, but she has a role with out legs!

Any way we wish her install her steps as deep as possible in Kollywood to come up in life!
