There is some change in the star cast of ‘Nam Nadu’. Sarath Kumar plays the lead in the film and initially paired opposite him was actress Tamanna. But now she has been ousted from the project and is no more a part of it. Karthika has stepped in her shoes and is playing the female lead in ‘Nam Nadu’. Tamanna was initially signed up to play the female lead. But she got busy with another film ‘Kallori’ to be directed by Balaji Sakthivel for director Shankar's S Pictures. That’s the reason producer Ramesh Babu and director Suresh decided to replace Tamanna with Karthika.

‘Nam Nadu’ is a remake of Malayalam hit ‘Lion’. The film went to the floors a few days back.
