Onscreen diva and daughter of legendary Gemini Ganesan, Rekha has been an enchantress enticing audiences from all across the nation with her charismatic persona and stunning performances. Though she has set for her a hallmark in Bollywood, she has never intended to be part of Kollywood though she has acted in Telugu and Kannada films. Though there were many filmmakers who intended to bring her to home grounds, it has never materialized.

Doing the impossible is Tharun Gopi of ‘Thimiru’ fame who has managed to get a nod from this gorgeous actress to be a part of his forthcoming film starring Simbu in the lead role and Trisha opposite him. Rekha will be playing a leading role in the film. Tharun Gopi says, “She plays a positive role in the film and it is a key role.” It was the script of this untitled film that hooked Rekha to the offer.

Harris Jayaraj is composing the music of the film and RD Rajasekhar is the cinematographer.
