Tamil film buffs have something special to look forward to. The very person who brought the life of underworld dons into vivid light in Hindi films is all set to come to Kollywood. Veteran filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is going to produce a Tamil film very soon.

This Bollywood stalwart is ready to get into southern films. He will co-produce a Tamil film with Prakashraj. The story of the film is ready and Malind is going to direct it. The director had earlier assisted Mani Ratnam.

Ram Gopal Varma ventured into Southern films with ‘Shiva’ in Telugu. It has Nagarjuna, Amala and Raghuvaran and was released in Tamil as ‘Udhayam’. He is also planning to remake it in Hindi.

Varma is co-producing another Telugu film titled ‘Shock’ with distributor Suresh Kondat. Ravi Teja and Jyotika are going to play the lead roles in the film. It is scheduled for release next year. Varma is also busy working on his ambitious project ‘Sholay II’.

What more can you ask for than having such a veteran filmmaker by your side? Make way for Varma please, for he is going to entertain everyone.
