Mammooty is all set to introduce another heroine in Malayalam. This time it is Madhumita from Tamil.

Mammooty had recently brought in Padmapriya from Telugu in the film 'Kaazcha'. In the new film 'Thommayum Makkalum', he is going to star with a newcomer from Tamil named Madhumita. She had acted in Parthiban's film 'Kudaikkul Mazhai'. 

This is director Shafi's first film with Mammooty.

Mammooty is presently busy with the shooting of 'Vesham'. The film incidentally marks the return of Mohini who had made her debut in films, years ago. Shafi is going to launch his film on the 10th of this month. Shafi's previous film was 'Pulivaal Kalyanam'.

When Parthiban introduced his new heroine in films, he had remarked that he saw a light in her eyes- the kind that he had seen in his own eyes. He had also predicted that she would one day become a name to reckon with. It now looks as if his prediction is going to come true very soon.
