'I'm trying to make a film that everybody enjoys. A film about family bonds that would touch the hearts and make you think,' says director VM Vinu about his new film 'Vesham'.

The film is a portrayal of the trials and tribulations of a Kozhikode based business family and the ups and downs in the relationship of the members with each other. Mohini returns after a short break. The film has two more heroines- Gopika and Sindhu Menon.

Mammooty and Indrajit are brothers. Mohini is married to Mammooty and Gopika is married to Indrajjit. Indrajit is an MBA holder. Ideology clashes occur and things begin to go wrong. Gopika is very happy about the role because it gives her lot of scope to emote.

Mohini says, 'When I returned to acting, I got a beautiful role of a housewife.'

Gopika says, 'Mine is an excellent role too. Though I play Indrajit's wife, I have lot of scenes with Mammooty.'

The film is going to be released on Ramzan.
