Prithviraj and 'Kangalaal Kaithu Sei' (Tamil) fame Priya Mani do the lead roles in Vinayan’s 'Satyam', produced under the banner of Vyshakh Films. The film also has Thilakan, Murali, Laloo Aalex, Suresh Krishna and Baburaj in the cast. Priya Mani had already got noticed in the Tamil film 'Kangalaal Kaithu Sei' and is currently also acting in another Tamil film, 'Athu Oru Kanaa Kaalam'. Satyam would be her first film in Malayalam. Scripted by Vinayan himself, the film features lyrics by Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri, music by M Jayachandran, cinematography by Shaji, editing by B Murali and art-direction by Saloo K George.
