Padmapriya who was making a comeback in Malayalam films with Suresh Gopi starrer ‘Laptop’, has given rise to some hot scoops in the tinsel town.

Buzz is that, while shooting for this film, Padmapriya got so engaged in her role that she mistakenly smacked Suresh Gopi on the sets. The actor felt seriously embarrassed as well as slighted by his co-star’s unexpected action.
     
From what is learnt, Suresh Gopi, an industry veteran, immediately complained director Roopesh Paul about this. Interestingly, Padmapriya remained oblivious to the fact that her slap did cause more injury then it seemed. No sooner, she got to know about Suresh Gopi’s displeasure, she begged for an apology.

E.A. Joseprakash produces ‘Laptop’ under the banner of Mother Movies. This film takes a dig at the special bond between an unwed mother and her son. Shwetha Menon plays Suresh Gopi’s mother in the film. This film is likely to be released this May.
