Much effort was made to bring in Bharathi in Malayalam films with Mammootty starrer ‘Annan Thampi’. Nevertheless, things failed to fall into place and the role later went to Lakshmi Rai. Apparently, Bharathi skipped the biggie due to her date issues.

However, now Bharathi’s dream to make it into Malayalam films seems to materialize with the actress bagging ‘Aayudham’ opposite Suresh Gopi. Directed by M A Nishad, this film will star the actress in one of the significant leads.

And Bharathi is all game for her role in the film, which is currently on roll.

Bharathi shot to fame as an actress with her sensational act in the Tamil flick ‘Ammuvagiya Naan’ which starred her in the role of a sex worker. This film did a good business in Kerela as well. Here’s wishing Bharathi all the luck for her Malluwood stint.
