The success of his Tamil film ‘Chithiram Pesuthadi’ has made him hot. Now, he has a couple of promising Tamil films on hand namely ‘Palli Koodam’ and ‘Nenjirukkum Varai’.

Meanwhile, the stupendous success of his recent Malayalam film ‘Classmates’ has made him hot in Malluwood too. He plays a vital role in Shyama Prasad's ‘Ore Kadal’. He is said to have a good role to play in the film though Mammootty is the hero. The director said that Naren’s wonderful performance in the film has impressed every one of them.
