Producers are a restless lot. Even before they release a film, they are planning their next venture, irrespective of the fate of their unreleased project. Since filmmaking is their business, if they lose money in one project, they try to recover the loss in the next film. Same is the case with famous producer K Manju, who had released his big starcast and big budget film Saahukaara (remake of Rajnikanth’s Muthu), recently launched his next film. The muhurat of his latest film Yashwanth was held at Bangalore’s Kanteerava Studios. Financier KV Nageshkumar sounded the clap while the camera was switched on by the KFCC’s new president HD Gangaraju. Producers Ramu, Rahman, SA Chinnegowda, SR Govindu, BN Gangadhar, BK Gangappa and many others graced the occasion and wished Manju every success. Six songs have already been recorded by music director Manisharma. Dayal, director of Ba Baaro Rasika, is in-charge of the story, screenplay, dialogues and direction. Cameraman Sathya Hegde, who worked for Taalikattuva Subhavele is canning this film. Editor Manohar’s son Vinod Manohar is in-charge of the editing work.

Murali, hero of successful films like Chandrachakori and Kanti, is playing the lead in this film. If this film is a success, it would be hit a hat-trick in Karnataka.

“This film is based on a real life incident that took place in my life. Generally people try to earn money in different ways. But only money that is earned by honest means safeguards and protects us. This is the basic theme of this film,” briefed the director to the press present on the occasion.

The film also stars Mumbai girl Deepa Yadav, Vinayak Joshi, Pavan, Preethi, Sanjana, Rameshbhat, AS Murthy, Tulasi Sivamani, Sindhu Raghuvir and Indudhar. “We plan to complete the film in a single 45-day schedule in the studios and on various locales in and around Bangalore. Only songs will be picturised in some foreign country. I am confident about the success of the film which is why I am prepared to spend any amount since it is the demand of the story. There are four fights and six songs in the film,” said producer Manju.

Four stunt masters Palaniraj, Tiger Madhu, KD Venkatesh and Ravivarma and five dance masters Rajesh, Tribhuvan, Ashokraj, Fivestar Ganesh and Harsha are working for this film which is being made under the banner of Lakshmi Combines.
