This Friday, Kannada audience is sure to be spoilt for choices with three different films belonging to three different genres, commercial, devotional and revolutionary all set to knock at the theatres near you.

The first of the list is Prajwal Devaraj, Sunaina and Gayathri starrer commercial potboiler ‘Gange Baare Thunge Baare’. Touted as a romantic flick, this one is directed by Sadhu Kokila while Bhojaraja Rai has produced it.

Next in the list is the devotional flick ‘Jnanajyothi Sri Siddaganga’ bearing huge historical relevance; this pious flick has been attempted under the direction of by Omkar B.A who has also given the story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics here. Starring Dr.Vishnuvardhana and his wife Bharathi Vishnuvardhana in special cameos, this film also stars Sridhar, Srinivasamurthy, Thara, Shivadwaj, Chetan, Vinayaprakash,
Ramesh Bhat, Suchindra Prasad, Sudnerraj and GK Govindarao among others.

Last but not the least is the film ‘Thaayi’, an adaptation of Maxim Garkhi’s noted novel work ‘Mother’. Starring Smt.Pramila Joshai in the lead role, who is also the official producer of the film, ‘Thaayi’ also stars actors like Srinivasamurthy, Sunder Raj, Shanker and Mico Chandru in other important roles. Hamsalekha has given the music for this film.
