One of Tollywood’s most sought after actress Charmi is now coming to Kannada films. She will soon be making her debut in Kannada. This will be her first Kannada film although she has already done 26 films in her career span, which include 3 in Tamil, 1 in Malayalam. She’ll make her debut in Kannada with the film 'Lava Kusha'. She will be seen in the female lead in the film alongside two popular stars Shivarajkumar and Upendra. She has been paired opposite Upendra in the film. The film is directed by Om Sai Prakash. Producer Prabhakar of 'Anna Thangi' fame is producing this film. This film is scheduled for release in November.

Charmi addressing the media at Doddaganapathi temple in Basavanagudi said that she wants to make Bangalore her second home and intends to learn Kannada soon.
