Akshay Kumar is a proud guy. Last year saw the actor dole out four back-to-back hits in a row and although his first release of the year ‘Tashan’ failed to earn any rich rewards, the actor walked away with all kudos at the end of the show. Also the actor has hiked his price and is currently the most wanted actor in tinsel-town with his kitty boasting of some of the biggest and the best projects of the lot.

And to add to all his feats is the latest honorary doctorate degree that the Canadian University has decided to confer to the actor. Briefing us more on the doctorate degree, Akshay’s spokesperson confirmed, “The University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, will bestow Akshay with an honorary doctorate on May 9. It’s basically for all the social work that he has done in Canada. The University called him up to present him the doctorate.”

Many Bollywood bigwigs have been feted with such honorary doctorate degree earlier, with the list boasting of big shots like Yash Chopra, Amitabh Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Shilpa Shetty.

We just hope that the winning spree just continues for Akki!
