Amisha Patel had unwittingly contributed to the increase in tourism of New Zealand!

The superhit film ‘Kaho Naa Pyar Hai’ was shot in New Zealand, in the cities of Christchurch and Queenstown. Ever since the film became a big hit, the two cities have become very much in demand for Indian filmmakers for its picturesque locales and for the superstitious fact that the film that was shot in these locations had become a big hit.

According to statistics, tourism in New Zealand had quadrupled. So, the film’s producer/director Rakesh Roshan, leading stars Hritik Roshan and Ameesha Patel were honored by the New Zealand Prime Minister when she was visiting India.

Amisha presently is doing a film in Telugu and a film in Hindi which has Lara Dutta too.
