Mumbai, Oct 6 (IANS) After the critically acclaimed and commercially successful National Award winner "Munnabhai MBBS", filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra is all set to bring alive a classic love story - "Parineeta".

"Parineeta-The Married Woman", is Chopra's adaptation of a Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyaya classic.

It is a piercing analysis of human love and its frailties. An intense love story, it explores the difference in a man and woman's perception of love and commitment.

Produced under the banner of Vinod Chopra Productions, the film will star Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Raima Sen and introduce Vidya Balan.

Pradeep Sarkar, the renowned ad filmmaker will make his directoral debut with the film. The award winning creator of memorable ads for TV channel Aaj Tak, soft drink giant Coca-Cola and savoury brand Kurkure, as also unforgettable music videos like "Ab ke sawan" and "Piya Basanti", Sarkar has co-written the screenplay with Chopra.

The film's music is by Shantanu Moitra.

"Parineeta" is scheduled to begin shooting in Calcutta from November. Cine buffs will, however, have to hold their breath till its release April 2005.
