Anwar, brother of the late comedian Mehmood, and the king of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan are indeed the best friends. And this was obvious at the lunch of Anwar's bool titled Amitabh and I, dedicated to Bachchan's late father - Harivanshrai Bachchan and Mehmood, as well. This work of non-fiction tells the story of the great friendship between Anwar and Bachchan. At the launch, Amitabh said, "I am touched and surprised. I wasn't even aware that Anwar was writing a book. But I only hope that he has conveniently missed out writing some naughty incidents we both were a part of!" For the record, Amitabh and Anwar came into the industry together with Saath Hindustani. Ans have remained saath saath ever since, through thick and thin. Indeed a relationship one to would like to refer to as "friends forever".
