Obviously when you’re making debut opposite none other than Shah Rukh Khan in Farah Khan’s movie ‘Om Shanti Om’, it is going to make people look up at you in awe.

It is quite few months before ‘Om Shanti Om’ will arrive at the theatres and Deepika has got a big movie offer from Boney Kapoor to play the lead in his Hindi remake of Telugu hit ‘Pokkiri’. Salman Khan was supposed to play the male lead. Though Deepika seemed interested in the offer at the beginning she didn’t turn up for the special screening of the film that Boney had organized.
