Looks like the able filmmaker Kalpana Lajmi is all set on casting only beauty queens in her films. After the rumors that she was planning on signing none other than Aishwarya Rai to play the lead role of Rabri Devi in her film Sinhasan, the filmmaker has now clarified that although Ash knows about the role, she has not agreed yet. KJ(her short form) is still waiting for Ash's approval. She also claims that the role is not that of Rabri, as reported, but that of a fictional female politician whom she herself made up. In the meantime even while she waits for Ash's final decision, Lajmi has turned her attention to another beauty queen, ex Miss universe Sushmita Sen. This Bengali sensation has apparently given the nod to Chingari, a hard hitting film which will also star the Bengali actor Mithun Chakraborty and Anju Aswhney and will go on the floors in a couple of months. Looks like super days for Sush are on a roll, big time.
