Directed by Gulzar the film goes at length on the re-discovery of love on a broken marriage in a political setting with the lead cast played by Sanjeev Kumar and Suchitra Sen. Apart from the intriguing story the music composed by R D Burman and lyrics by Gulzar is just splendid. Tum Aa Gaye Ho, Tere Bina Zindagi and Is Mod Se are gems.
