Talented director Ramgopal Varma makes a forceful comeback with this crime thriller starring the dopey-eyed Ajay Devgan, Manisha Koirala, newcomer Vivek Oberoi and the South Indian superstar Mohanlal in the leading roles. The film does lack the usual Bollywood styled romantic songs. But songs like ‘Tumse Kitna Pyaar Hai’, ‘Ankhon Mein Raho’ are the height of romanticism. The pick of the lot is the most popular item track ‘Khallas’. Sandeep Chawta’s music has certain variety and freshness.
