Shakti Samanta directs this film starring Ashok Kumar, Moushumi Chatterjee, Rakesh Roshan, Sharmila Tagore, Utpal Dutt and Uttam Kumar. Shyamal Mitra composes wonderful music of the film with lyrics by Indeewar. Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhosle, Preeti Sagar, Yesudas and Shyamal Mitra have crooned the songs.
