Himesh Reshammiya the super successful composer turned the super hit actor returns back after more than a year with ‘Karzzzz’. A much awaited project which is backed by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series. With Himesh in tow donning the triple role of a hero, composer, and singer, the film will certainly be another grand musical extravaganza.
The kind of music that this film brings, one can be certain that here is another chartbuster in hand. The album is akin to his other hits that created frenzy world over sometime back. For music lovers the best part is that there is bountiful of tracks in the album. Other than the regular eight songs, there is one rearranged version of the title song, plus 10 remix tracks making it an album consisting of 19 songs. The songs are very much Himesh Reshammiya.
The lounge track 'Lut Jaaon Lut Jaaon' is a brilliant lounge number at the start with vocals of Harshdeep and the catchy feel that is infectious. The song which can be also categorised as a title track will one of the highlights of the film. The 'remix version' is different in arrangement from the routine remix versions that one witnesses regularly. This club feel number will make you take an instant liking for it.
'Hari Om Hari Om' the next number is somewhat akin to 'Om Shanti Om' from the original film. The song will be instantly lapped up by Himesh regualar. Himesh Reshammiya infuses lots of zeal while rendering the track. There are two remix versions accompanying the original - 'Indian Mix' and 'Electro Mix'. Both the tracks would be frequently used in the dance floor.
Somewhat strange sounding words 'Tandoori Nights' begins the next number. But there is nothing to be unenthused about it. This one actually is the catchiest number so far. Sunidhi Chauhan's voice ably supports him making the number a sure shot chartbusting material. This dance number also has an interesting 'remix version' which is ear catching and foot tapping as well.
So far we have just encountered groovy tracks. But here comes the sublime 'Soniye Je Tere' based on Indian classical flavour by Himesh Reshammiya. It’s not the typical classical number and has been merged with modern-day sound and some English lines chipping in as well. Himesh delivers great as a singer of the track rendering in high pitch vocals. Tulsi Kumar also accompanies him with few lines. This love song which again should become a chartbuster comes in 'remix version' as well.
'Dhoom Tere Ishq Ki' turns out to be the most ear pleasing number in the album so far. Based on Indian feel and arrangements with no intrusion of any Western instrument, 'Dhoom Tere Ishq Ki' is a love song that will make you fall in love with it. Sameer's lyrics are simple but very charming. Though there is a 'remix version' of the song as well, the original is the most favoured.
Himesh Reshammiya follows with another solo track 'Sisak Sisak Ke' lapped with English rap-n-reggae and foot tapping music. Though the style of the track is vintage it goes well with the mood of the album. The same can be said about its 'remix version'.
'Tere Bin Chain Na Aave' has a ghazal feel to it and another Indian kind of song. Imbibed with Indian melody, this number has Himesh Reshammiya and Tulsi Kumar sharing the credits. Though unrequired there is a 'remix version' that follows along with. But it is interesting enough and doesn’t disrupt the proceeding.
Taking a break from the dance tracks, Himesh rather prefers to take a romantic route for the rest of the songs. 'Masha Allah' has Himesh behind the mike changing pitch amazingly from low to high at regular intervals. 'Masha Allah' comes across as another chartbuster number in ‘Karzzzz’. The 'remix version' only accentuates the passionate mood of the album.
Himesh Reshammiya does something he has never done before. He gets into Kishore Kumar’s mode to revive the ever popular number 'Ek Haseena Thi' that the original version of the film carried. In terms of singing as well as composition Himesh takes care not to go overboard. The lyrics are original though the music is re-arranged in some parts. Shreya Ghosal reprises the track in her voice. The 'remix version' is also high on tempo
While the lyrics are kept as it is, the number is slightly re-arranged without compromising on the intensity of the original. Shreya Ghosal is his singing partner in this duet which is bound to result in goose-bumps all over again when heard in theaters. The 'remix version' is high on tempo and would make one euphoric while listening to it.
‘Karzzzz’ is the kind of album that would end the present drought with all the tracks competing on the top slot. The album is a fantastic combination of massy and classy tracks, making sure that Himesh Reshammiya fans are not disappointed. The album would surely garner attention from all counters.
