This is one of the most awaited romantic comedies of 2008. The gist of the film is a good man and his selfless love for a pretty girl who transforms a gang of crooks. Lakhan Singh aka Lucky (Sonu Sood) is the main man of the Australian underworld. Javed Jaffrey, Neha Dhupia, Manoj Pahwa, Yashpal Sharma, Kamal Chopra and Sudhanshu Pande are his associates. Lucky was born in a small village of Punjab and here Happy Singh (Akshay Kumar) also lives. His nobility has led to many hilariously disastrous situations in the village. To get him out of the village, the desperate villagers decide to send him on a long trip to bring Lucky back to Punjab, as his appalling deeds were bringing a shame to their image in Australia.

Happy Singh considering it to be a serious task, sets forth accompanied by his friend, Tony Singh (Om Puri), who is certainly not very happy to be in the situation. During his journey Happy has a chance meeting with Sonia (Katrina Kaif) and falls head over heels in love with her. On reaching his destination what awaits him is a series of comic misadventures, leaving him penniless. Fortunately he finds help from an elderly lady (Kirron Kher) who helps him meet Lucky. Happy in a turn of events saves Lucky's life risking his own life. Lucky lands up in hospital paralyzed, and Happy, has to unexpectantly take on the role of the new 'kinng'!

The film is laced with plenty of romance, glamour, hilarious moments and chartbusting music, and is supposedly the biggest entertainer of 2008.
