Kismat Konnection is next from the stable of Pritam and one expects that it would soon join his hit brigade of 2008 after Race and Jannat. Every one connected to the film Pritam, Shahid Kapoor, TIPS and UTV are enjoying good ‘kismat’ off late. Aziz Mirza gets back in action after a haul coming up with another simple yet lovely film with the first time pairing of Shahid Kapur and Vidya Balan. Sayeed Qadri and Shabbir Ahmed do the lyrics for the film.

'Aai Paapi (Tu Hai Meri Soniye)’ peps up your mood in an instant. Shabbir Ahmed mixes English and Hindi lyrics for this groovy number rendered in the terrific voice of Neeraj Sridhar. The lyrics makes it obvious that this is the title song of the film. The album will hurriedly soar up the charts that’s for sure.

The remix version makes this dance track for enjoyable. The club feel effect of the song will make it lapped up at most of the discos. On the screen Shahid's excellent moves keeps you involved.

Atif Aslam’s name can be associated with quality and hit tracks. He teams up with Pritam after 'Pehli Nazar Mein' for 'Bakhuda Tumhi Ho' in this album. Alka Yagnik joins him to render the song with words by Sayeed Quadri. The track turns out well sung and well composed. Another great track after the first, the beautiful melody will stick to you for long.

'Bakhuda' also comes in a remix version and the best part it that even with additional music its charm is not lost. With different beats and different style of rendition it appears as a different number altogether.

A foot tapping number comes next.  'Move Your Body Now' has Shaan, Hard Kaur and Akruti Kakkar behind the mike which has the zest to bring you out dancing. This urban rocking number will click with you in no time. Pritam succeeds in getting variety from the different singers for the track. Fusing Western and Punjabi style, this one is a high on feel number.

There is a second version that has Adeel for Shaan. He manages to keep the momentum intact. The song appears for the third time in ‘remix version’. The track has such potential that it will certainly soar up popularity charts.

Shreya Ghoshal and Mohit Chouhan team up for 'Is This Love (Kahin Na Laage)’ with lyrics by Sayeed Quadri. A love track expresses the romance between the protagonist.

As assumed a remix version of the track follows, and one doesn’t mind hearing to the nice number again.

'Soniye Ve (Dhak Dhak Dhak) ' is written by Shabbir Ahmed. The pulsating rhythm of Bhangra beats is what catches your ears. The musical arrangement is typically Pritam. Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan render this energetic number. It is also one helluva nice number to this already great sounding album. Hereby follows a remix of the original.
 
The album is a mix of some great numbers and quite good ones. Some have the potential to become instant hits while other may catch up after the film’s release. It’s a promising soundtrack and Pritam on whom expectations are sky high, doesn’t dissapoint.
