‘Ugly aur Pagli’ stars Ranvir Shorey/Kabir (Ugly) as an uninteresting, tedious chap who has been a failure in academics. His engineering dreams went into drains after a whole lot of attempts. The only think that he is looking for now is a girlfriend. But he didn’t want someone who would change his life, making him dance round the clock in her fingertips. He is made to do quirky stuff like run semi-naked, ride cycles without seats, wear high-heeled ladies shoes and what not. Ugly meets Pagli one cold winter night at V. T station and hereon begins an unimaginable saga. But he has fallen so much in love with his lady love that he survives through her insane demands.

His female counterpart on the other hand Kuhu/Mallika Sherawat (Pagli) is a mad girl, who is kind of on your face soul, playing a strong, but yet a bit detestable part. She is completely out of track, horrible, strong and withy gill. She can disrupt your life with her obnoxious ways. Going through a rough time herself she has a strange sense of belief that the only thing that could set her free is by putting someone else into her shoe, i.e. in troubled waters. She hunts for a loser guy so that she can make him fall madly in love with her and turn his life upside down. Truly she is a ‘devil in disguise'.
 
Ugly and Pagli is a fresh story with two souls along with their shortcomings try to accept each other. Ranvir Shorey and Mallika Sherawat would make a strange yet interesting chemistry knowing the performers they are.
