Raghu is young, ambitious, successful and his career is the most important thing for him. He gets a posting in New York but before leaving he has to go to Chandigarh for his last assignment. He crosses path with a girl there to whom he gets unconsciously attracted to.

But Pinky darts away every time he thinks of approaching her. They meet and get to know each other only to realize that they share a very strong bonding. Pinky once again disappears. After months they once again meet and this time Pinky has only one request to make that he meet her family once as her family is everything for her.

Raghu meets the big Punjabi family and is taken in by their warmth. Will Pinky change her mind about letting him go? Is career more important than a loving family? What will Raghu do?
