Rajashekhar’s last film 'Evadaithe Naakenti' rescued him from the lean phase he was going through in his career. He is desperate for more hits to rescue his acting career. He intends to work in good ventures that would give him a fresh lease of life to his Tollywood career. He has signed this new film ‘Gorintaku’. The title might sound similar as it is from Dasari Narayana Rao hit film from the 70’s. Apart from this there is no other similarities that both this film’s share.

Rajashekhar will be seen in a dual role that of a father and son. The father’s role is brief and the son plays a sugar baron. Sivaji, Raja, Brahmaji, Surya, Hema and Chandramohan are among the star cast.

Aarthi Agarwal plays the female lead in the film. Meera Jasmine has bagged a crucial role in the flick. Akash will also be seen in an important role in the film. The film began last year but the film got delayed in nearing completion due to many factors. Aarthi’s marriage was one of the factors.

Rajashekhar excels in action and sentimental films and this film offers you just that. In a gist, the story is about a loving brother and his doting sister. It is a rip off of Kannada super hit film 'Anna Thangi'. The story has been modified to suit the taste of Telugu audience. The hero loves his sister very much who is married to a rich boy. But he loses everything in the hands of his scheming brothers and gets jailed. The poor sister seeks her brother’s support and help. But her sister-in-law and her mother humiliate her and throw her out of the house. Famiucially bond and sentiment which is a crucial part of the story will be lapped up by the middle class audience. 

VR Pratapis directing the film. Paras Jain and NV Prasad are producing the film on the Mega super Good Films banner. RB Choudhary is presenting the film. SA Rajkumar is the music director and he has composed seven tracks. Two songs have been shot at exotic locations of New Zealand.
