Actor Prabhas has been going through testing time at the moment. An elusive hit has evaded him for a long time now. ‘Bujjigadu’ will be his next big release where he will share screen space with the dazzling beauty Trisha. After 'Varsham' and 'Pournami' this will be for the third time that the pair will be seen together onscreen. The film is being directed by Puri Jagannath. The director had requested Mohan Babu to do a role in the film and he complied. In Puri’s word, he plays a ‘rascal’ in the film. Mohan Babu plays Trisha’s brother in the film.
 
Though there has been some uncertainty reeling on about the story of the film, from authentic sources we have got the information on the prelude.  Prabhas acts as a diehard Rajnikanth fan and would be seen admiring the idol in the film. He would also be shown speaking in Tamil accent. He is also shown being brought up in the city. Trisha dons the character called Chitti.  Mohan Babu plays a possessive brother.

The scenes between Mohan Babu and hero Prabhas and his dialogues are the highlight of the film. Prabhas will come across as an out and out mass hero. He has worked on his   His body language, dialogues and action to gain popularity as a mass hero. Sanjana, Sunil, Ali, MS Narayana, Jayaprakash Reddy, Sudha, Hema, Ajay, Subbaraju and others are among the star cast. ‘Bujjigadu’ is a hilarious family entertainer packed with action, romance, fights and dance.

The film has garnered positive feedback which raises its chances to become a hit. One expects a hit coming from Puri after his success with recent films like 'Desamuduru' with Allu Arjun and 'Chirutha' with Ram Charan. KS Rama Rao has produced the film. Sandeep Chowtha scores the music.
