Kapil (Armaan Kohli) and Vasundara (Manisha Koirala) are Ichhadhaari snakes deeply in love with each other. On one of their romantic outings, they disturb the concentration of a sadhu (Amrish Puri) who fumes in anger. And in turn, he gives a curse that Vasundara will have to die and Kapil can only unite with her in the 21st century, after she gets a rebirth.

The scene shifts to the present day when Vasundara is reborn as Divya and Kapil gets transformed into a snake. But there's more trouble here as Divya is raped by two of her friends (Siddharth and Rajat Bedi) and she mistakenly thinks that her whole friends' circle is to be blamed for her plight, which includes Atul (Akshay Kumar), Ashok (Aditya Panscholi), Abdul (Arshad Warsi), Vijay (Sunil Shetty), Prem (Aaftab Shivdasani), Vivek (Sonu Nigam) and Victor (Sharad Kapoor).
 
Divya commits suicide and her spirit tells her sorrow tale to her lover Kapil, who swears revenge. And what follows is utter mayhem. They together play havoc, targetting their victims one after another.
