Yet another intriguing fantasy story which would impress the adults and also impress the kids is in the making. The film is directed by Vivek Sharma under the banner of B.R. Films. Ravi Chopra produces the film. ‘Bhoothnath - The friendly ghost’ is the story of a young boy Banku (Aman Siddiqui) and his association with a ghost Bhoothnath (Amitabh Bachchan). Both become friends and are beside each other in every phase.

How Banku meets Bhoothnath, lets find out. Banku and his parents (Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla) move into a new house which is haunted but they are not aware about it. Supernatural Bhoothnath resides in that house and he doesn’t want to share his precious property with the newcomers. He sees the family as intruders. To get rid of them he tries to scare them away. But in the process he soon becomes friends with the kid. Inquisitive Banku decides to expose the reasons behind Bhoothnath's nomadic soul and helps him attain salvation.
