‘Nepali’ has music by Srikanth Deva, the young music director known to deliver peppy and racy songs. He has delivered quality musical score in contemporary style so far. For this album too he has packed some fresh and quality tunes. The best part of the soundtrack is the harmony and the orchestra with trumpets and saxophone. Though Srikanth Deva is busy with the maximum number of movies this year, he hasn’t compromised on quality for ‘Nepali’ and has come up with melodious score. He has also managed to rope in director V. Z. Durai for a couple of songs.
Lively and melodic that’s the best part of ‘Vedanai Pola Naan’ coming in the voices of Karthik, Bombay Jayashree, Savitha, V. Z. Durai and Suchithra. Karthik as usual is at his best and Bombay Jayashree's brings a piece of classical. The music is good and Srikanth Deva’s work is commendable.
Another lively number follows with ‘Wanna Sexy Lady’ number rendered by Sunitha Sarathy and Megha. It begins on a soft note and then momentum gathers akin to other Srikanth Deva's compositions. Youthful lyrics by Karthik Netha, peppy rhythm and drumbeats are the attraction of the track. ‘Hey You Wow’ is a mix of rap, pep, and heavy percussion. Thanvi, Siva and director Durai render the number in an open-throated voice. The chorus and guitar add the right touch.
Another foot-tapping number follows with ‘Kanavile Kanavile’. Sathyan, Swetha and a rap voice render the track. Swetha adds softness with her voice while Sathyan goes ballistic. Yugabharathy's lyrics, catchy music and fast-paced rhythm make it an awesome outing.
Another racy number follows with ‘Suthuthey Suthuthey’. The track resembles a popular Western number. Yugendran and Vijay render the song. This energetic number has impressive music and English words mixed it. An apt track for the dance floor!
Small pieces come along with the songs. The track 'the Words of Nepali (Story1)' is soft and melodious. 'Love in A Minor (Story2) is also a soft track while the 'Sound of action (Story3)' is powerful, setting the mood of the theme.
The music of 'Nepali' is a youthful and energetic and will surely go down well with the music lovers.
